Any reported cases?

Have you heard of anyone ever dying of heartburn?
'cause I think I might.
die
of heartburn
Boiling acid and flames with just start gurgling and spewing from my mouth
I will now begin to subsist on Tums and water.

It's not just an old wive's tale (there was an article), think of your heartburn as making sure the Hybrid isn't born bald. Heartburn really does equal hair on newborns. I had to take Nexium my whole pregnancy and you see how much hair Mazzy has. :) Stay strong.

Both of my pregnancies, the first sign was heartburn. And it got steadily worse until the kid showed up.

The old wives' fable about hair didn't work on my kids; neither one of them had much more than peach fuzz.

You have my sympathy, because I still remember how extreme that heartburn was. I lived on Tums, and they didn't do much to help.

both of my kids were born bald and I suffer from terrible heartburn. I'm a dude though so maybe there isn't much of a correlation. Broccoli is a natural stomach acid reducer and might help take the burn down a bit.

Hello, I found your blog via Ms. Toast.

I just had a baby and my constant heartburn finally went away about 5 minutes after my daughter was born. I ate about 20 Tums a day and tried ginger and Zantac but none of it really worked. Sorry. :(

Good luck with the pregnancy, though! Sleep while you can!
